Passed Down Through Generations of Sparkling Kitchens

Every Thanksgiving, Grandma Spotless’s kitchen fills with the smell of herbs, butter, and love (with just a hint of Pro-Tek sparkle). Her secret to a perfect turkey isn’t just in the seasoning—it’s in the patience, the laughter, and the joy of cooking for the ones you love.

Now, she’s sharing her famous recipe with you—straight from the Spotless family table.

Grandma Spotless’s Perfect Roast Turkey

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)

  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon thyme, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon sage, chopped

  • 1 lemon, quartered

  • 1 onion, quartered

  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed

  • 1 cup chicken broth or white wine (for basting love and laughter)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 325°F. Pat the turkey dry (Spotless recommends supervising this step to catch stray drips).

Mix the magic: In a small bowl, combine butter, olive oil, salt, pepper, and herbs. Rub generously over the turkey, under the skin, and inside the cavity.

Stuff with flavor: Tuck the lemon, onion, and garlic inside. Tie the legs loosely.

Roast & baste: Place in a roasting pan, add broth or wine to the bottom, and roast for about 3 to 3½ hours—basting every 45 minutes.

Rest before carving: Let it sit at least 20 minutes before slicing. (Perfect time to admire your spotless counters.)
